Software Overview

Introduction

Comedy Evaluator Pro is proprietary software designed to provide objective performance evaluation data for comedians, comedy entertainers and speakers who incorporate humor and comedy into speeches and presentations.  The performance evaluation data produced by Comedy Evaluator Pro can provide users with significant advantages for producing high impact comedy material in the shortest time possible (see Evaluation Advantages below).

Performance evaluation data is obtained by listening to a recorded performance (audio or video) and using the Evaluation Control Panel to accurately measure the actual duration of audience PAR responses (laugher, cheering and applause) that occur during the recorded performance.

Note: The recording device used for the performance evaluation does not plug into or interface with Comedy Evaluator Pro.  You simply listen to the recording of your performance and use the Evaluation Control Panel to measure the duration PAR responses.

Core Evaluation Data

A performance evaluation conducted with Comedy Evaluator Pro will automatically provide you with the following core performance data:

• The overall percentage of your performance that resulted in laughter, cheering or applause (PAR Score)
• Seconds of laughter in each minute (average) of your performance
• Laughs per minute
• Duration (in seconds) of each laugh or PAR event
• PAR Score for each performance minute
• Total seconds of laughter each performance minute
